It has been a month since we came here ,and we also have been taking our courses for nearly three weeks ,what is the result ? what is the feeling ? I think it depends .
As for some people , they just stay at the same level as before ,I can also imagine the reason that is a kind of negative ,but for other people , they got a lot ,because I have seen the whole progress they have made. On the first day ,they were afraid of saying anything and their speaking speed was very slow ,but after three weeks ,their speed is faster than that before ,and they also have the confidence to speak aloud . I like their spirit ,no matter what the difficulty is ,what we need to do is to overcome the barrier and go ahead towards our goals.
When we have made up our minds to study English well , we should take some measures to help us get more improvement. In class , the tutors communicate with us ,and they let us try to speak more often ,it is a way to practice our spoken English ,which is perhaps the only way I can think of .after class ,what should we do ? I think there is nothing but reading and writing ,of course we also have to spend some time to memorize the vocabulary , but I think it is not the most important one because when we just memorize the words for themselves , actually we can not remember so much as what we want ,however ,when we read some articles or essays ,we will absolutely encounter some unfamiliar words and at that time if we look them up in the dictionary ,we will remember them related with the context. I always think that the more you read ,the more you will improve . Then referring to writing ,I reckon that it is also a reflection of reading ,but the difference is just that you become the author ,you are writing novels ,you are using the words to create an environment that can attract yourself or someone else to read .you do not want to use the simple words that even the kids can understand to describe the beautiful things ,and you do not want to stay in a low level ,so practice writing little by little .
I consider that we , the new comers ,have to improve us at all costs ,so learning effectively is pretty important .i have no idea whether I am right about what I have said ,but I prefer .
I just Sincerely hope seven months later ,we will get what we want today .
memorize vocabulary??I don't think it's proper……all in all……I'm astonished that you can write so much……
ReplyDeleteYou have spoken out the words I want to say , very good ~~
ReplyDeleteYou are just like a teacher to make comments about our study. Why don't you write something about yourself?By the way,I am really surprised at your enthusiasim at blogger.I should learn from you.
ReplyDeleteWell i think there is some rambling in the first and last two paragragh, but on the whole, this is an excellent passage
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with what you said about reading. It's true that knowing and learning new words through reading is more effective. Here is my suggestion;the third paragraph seems too long. It's better if you can divide it into two parts.
ReplyDeleteI like your enthusiasm and positive attitude towards learning English. In a way you have little choice but to succeed - no Plan B as they say.Even so, take time also to enjoy yourself. In fact you may improve faster if you do the things you like. We all learn differently and you just have to devise your own strategy. Make learning English fun and you will be very good at the end of this English course.
ReplyDeleteYes, sometimes we may feel desperate and low-spirit, and don't want to go further, but we should still hold hopes because we have no choice but go ahead without fear. I wish all of group 6 could gain lots of progress.
ReplyDeleteI quiet agree with you on what you think of reading. When you read, you can not only encounter new words and memorize them, but also can enhance you sense of English. Besides, reading can raise you interests so you won't feel bored and give up in the middle.
ReplyDeleteit is definite that we should improve our english as quick as possible.but how we achieve that remains to be decided. i think the methods differ from person to person.
