My first travel to Singapore Zoo

My first travel to Singapore Zoo Last Sunday I went to Singapore Zoo with my host family. It was the first time for me to visit the Singapore zoo, so I went there with some snacks, water and my camera and full of curiosity. The process to the zoo was a little difficult. We made it at 8:30 to meet each other at Jurong East taxi station. That morning I sent off at 7:30 and went direct to the bus station. Unfortunately, I took the wrong bus and it cost me a ling time to find an MRT station. At last, with running, I arrived on time. But what was bad, my host family was late. As a result, I stand under the strong sunshine for half an hour. But after all, I arrived the zoo, so I had nothing to complain. When I step into the zoo, I felt it is quite different from the ones in China. This zoo is full of plants and animals live in an environment like the wild area. They are free in the zoo. But in our zoos, there are not so many plants to imitate the wild environment. All animals live in caves and concrete pools. To my surprise, I saw some penguins in the zoo. In my view all penguins should live in Antarctic, why there are penguins here. At last I knew that this kind of penguins is called Africa penguin. We also enjoy the elephant show and the sea animal show. Their performances were amazing and all of us were sprayed by the elephant and was wet from head to feet. Even though, we all have a good time during the shows. I also saw some African animals and they let me think of the movie “Madagascar” giraffes, zebras, hippos and lions. They all live in a free field and seemed very leisure. There are also panthers In the zoo. They were very active and their walking gesture was quite graceful I think. It was a great journey to the zoo. Not only the animals attract me, but also the time I spent with my host family. Their lovely babies also made this travel interesting.
