I do not enjoy watching a same movie again and again, but I do have watched a movie for several times, which is called Schindler's list. It tells a story happened in Germany during the world war two and through this story I learned something about the values of life.
Schindler, a German munitioner and a number of Nazi Party, chose to save as many Jew as he could when the German army was massacring the Jew in Germany. He bought 1100 German workers who should have been killed to have them work for his factory. For the seven months the factory is fully operational, however, it was a model of non-production. During this same period, he spent millions of money to provide food or something else for his workers and to bribe the Nazi officers. When the war was over, he cried sadly in front of the 1100 people he saved, for he thought that he did not do enough and he could have saved more people, but he did not.
When watching the tall man crying on the ground, I saw a great spirit and the values of life. All the life are equal and valuable. Schindler spent almost all his money to save these people, using money to exchange people, and he seldom thought of himself. In addition, he did not realize that he had done do much. He respected and valued other people's life. This is a great spirit.
What is the values of life? Why we come to the world? In my opinion, we come to the world not to take something away, instead, we are here to bring the world something. We should do our contributions to the world, and that should be our values of life. In the contemporary society, a lot of people become unconcerned about others, and our society becomes colder and colder. Interest has become one of the most important factors in our life. Interest is important, but I think love should be far more important than anything else. We should help other people as much as possible. Only in this way can we human being live a better life and develop further.
We should have a proper values of life, value life, help others and do our contributions to make the world a better place.
I agree with you. Though I have not watched the whole film, I heard of the story before. All lives are equal, and we can see that even some Nazi party members are kind to those weak people.
ReplyDeleteI think the Schindler's list reflects the awakening of good parts of human natures. i think all man are born good though some scientists in genes not and what we need to do is to awaken the good parts of human natures.
ReplyDeleteI have watched this movie before and I was deeply touched, too. Schindler was a great man who worth our respect. As for the modern society, I believe the majority are good and virtuous. Sometimes people may get lost to do bad things but after they realize how much pain they have caused to others, they will try to make up those who were hurt.
ReplyDeleteThank you for introducing me a new movie which is really worth watching. Most of the people in this world are kind, maybe their identities were fixed when they were born, they have to do something which seemed not good. However, they might change themselves eventually, because all the human beings hearts are kind.
ReplyDeleteyour blog reallt reminde me of something. when people become too selfish, they are less likely to feel happy and content, which is the problem i am having now.
