My tour to Singapore Art Museum
Singapore art museum is quite different from the ones in China. There are not so many works from famous artists and most of the opuses are not made in long time ago as in China. They are from life, such as the pictures drawn on newspaper.
There are four tings interest me most. The first one is the pictures of different kind of faces. They are paint by ink and they are all abstract in common. From far away you can notice they are faces but when you go nearby the pictures are full of ink of different shapes. The second one is the wings made of slippers. This art us the increasing of colors’ degree to make the wings look vivid. The third one is a short movie. This movie shows a woman wearing a pair of high heel and stepping on a big block of cheese. Besides, the woman looks very resentful and sad. I think this movie maybe expresses the indignation of that woman about the so called fashion. The last one is a kind of toy like the invention from Newton. It typically features a row of steel balls and when you play it, a pendulum on one end is pulled away and makes a chain reaction. This is a kind of arts in science.
Generally speaking, Singapore arts museum leaves a good impression on me, especially the works made of the things in our daily life. Another interesting thing is the white rabbit front of the museum. It shows the passion of Singaporean.

  2. To be honest, singapore arts museum did not leave me a very good impression. But it is still OK, the works of arts there is only applied to a certain group of people. I tried to understand them but failed.
