Men always get through a lot of happiness and sufferings in their lives. I think，it is true.
I think I am really lucky yesterday. The weather in Singapore is rather awful, because it is always fine with sudden showers of rain. Until today I have not been used to take an umbrella with me all the time. When it pours cats and dogs all of a sudden, I have to run very fast to find a shelter in order to protect myself from the heavy rain. But yesterday I was faced with a puzzling choice, have supper first or go to the laundry first, because I have a habit of surfing the Internet and reading books in the dinning hall right after supper. Luckily I made a wise choice yesterday. As soon as I stepped into the dinning hall with five pieces of clothes in my hand, rain poured down like a shower. And many poor guys were caught in the rain. Compared with those poor guys, I found I was really lucky. Maybe in the old days, I had complained that life was boring and the food was not delicious enough. But yesterday I found life is so fair; when you lose something, you will no doubt gain some others. We are loved and blessed by our relatives and friends every day and we should live our everyday life to the fullest.
But today I think I run out of my luck. There is a get-together organized by the befrienders at YIH canteen. But we just missed the A2 school bus and we had no choice but wait for the next bus. After more than twenty minutes, our patience gave out. Shortly after we made a tough decision to get there on foot, an A2 school bus arrived. However, when we got there, it is already half past twelve. There were so many people queuing. More unluckily, I found that everyone had already left when I gained my serving.
Oh, there is a wonderful thing I feel very happy at. Today Mr. Lim gave each of us a red pocket money to celebrate the Spring Festival.
In a man’s short life, everyone must learn to be grateful to all the happiness and be tolerant of all the hardships.
