the Earthquake in Japan

On March 11th 2011, an unexpected earthquake occurred in the east coast of Japan. This earthquake is so serious that a large number of people are hurt or dead. Since their houses are badly destroyed, many Japanese become homeless and very painful because of the loss of their relatives. However, the worse is that this earthquake has not only caused a bad damage to Japanese environment, but also led to a destructive tsunami. All the ships and boats lose their way and a large amount of sea water covers a part of the island of Japan. These things are enough to prove how miserable they are, but the adversity does not stop here. Because of the shack, the nuclear reactor blast which may cause burns, illness or even cancer.
Many people argue that whether a country should send people to help them or not. From my perspective, this problem is not worthy to discuss. The unpleasant was caused in the past and it is a historical problem. Now the Earth is quite disastrous, we do not know when and where another unexpected disaster will happen again. So any desire is not important, we just should protect our earth from now on!

  1. The earthquake in Japan is a sad thing. It is so big that bring Japanese such sorrow. Too many people died and too many buildings were destroyed. Let us pray for them. Though I do not believe in the movie 2012, I believe that it is our human being's fault that lead to the disaster. We should protect our earth!

  4. It is alright to discuss the great earthquake and tsunami which happened in Japan. What is more important is to learn from the event. One lesson is preparedness. At the same time, there is a need to be optimistic because in such a massive disaster like in Japan, no amount of preparation can prepare you for a superscale disaster.
