my eighth blog: Life Is A Journey

                                                                  Life Is A Journey
Though it, we both get and lose a lot
Last Friday, I went to a primary school to start my GIVE program. However, on seeing so many children playing in the playground, more correctly, in a small yard, I reminded myself of what my childhood in a primary was like. They played with much fun, chasing and shouting. At the time , I realized that I had been quite old compared with them. Time passing by, I have to admit that I have changed so much with more experiences and deep understanding toward life. Of course, I also lost so much as a cost such as a pure heart, a simple thought of the world, or a permanent pursuit of dream. It turns out that life is a journey, during which we both get and lose a lot. Anyway, people prefer to look forward and would like to say at the end of their life that they have learned a lot from life and they will never be regret what they have decided all along.
Here I do want to share my thoughts instead of giving any advice. Maybe it sounds I am rambling, it is really true for me.
During the journey, I learned to be mature, though I know I am not in terms of its real meaning and value. Experiencing much really can change a person. I said that I would always keep a pure heart like a child when I was young. It was not a lie, I promise. But finally I followed the normal natural developing trend of human being. With the training of reality, I have to admit life is really full of magic and forceful enough to put you on another dress. Being trapped into trouble, I begin to know how to behave like mature people with deeply profound sense of calming in mind. No crying like kids is the basic in my view. In contrast, I almost lost the simple lifestyle. Living without trouble, playing without worry, laughing without consideration have absolutely been all the past. While watching children running in the yard, I missed my pervious time so much.
During the journey, I learned to be friendlier, more loyal, more enthusiastic, and more passionate. The cost was that I lost the purity, simplicity, and all virtues that only belonged to kids. I should be totally an adult.
However, I believe all that I have got are worthy of my lost. Sincerely hope that my friends can get much  they want from the journey of life as I do.

  1. Shan Shan, now you are still young and you still keep your pure heart.Although we have to grow up,it does not mean we have to change ourselves. We learn a lot during the long journal, but we can still keep our good personalities and the mood we owe in our childhood’s time. Life is a long river ,and we walk through it ;Dream is the bright light ,and never lose your pure heart.

  2. "Life is journey " is really the most beautiful sentence in the world. We are just on a journey when we are in the world. Some people's journeys are long while some are short. Some people view much scenery while some just watch the normal things. What really counts is that we are forever on the road and the day we die, we can calmly recall these sweet memories along our journeys

  3. The reason why life is a journey is we have to move forward or growing up. When grown up, you certainly can not maintain some things you have when you are a kid. However, in my opinion, you should regard the things you had when you are a kid as a treasure experience or memory instead of as a lose. Just as a journey, you take the beautiful scenery as a good experience but do not complain you had lost them when you passed by.

  4. I didn't find out that you are so sensitive...your words and sentences remand me of my past time as well...but the memory we have shouldn't be our burden. we must make a brave choice to say goodbye to the past and keep moving ahead, right?

  5. Life is a journey, this is really a vivid metaphor. The farther we go in a journey, the more we see. The longer we go through our life, the more we experience.
